Services

  • Evidence-based psychiatric medication management involves a comprehensive approach to assessing, diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. This includes an initial evaluation to determine the appropriate medication based on individual needs, ongoing monitoring of the medication's effectiveness and side effects, and regular follow-up appointments to adjust dosages or explore alternative options if necessary. It also encompasses education about the prescribed medications, helping patients understand their treatment plan and how to manage their symptoms effectively in a holistic manner.

    Initial Evaluation: 50-60 minute session

    Follow up: 20-30 minute session

  • During a psychotherapy session with evidence-based medication management, there is exploration of the your past and current circumstances, along with associated feelings, thoughts, and any concerns that may arise. This setting provides you an opportunity to share experiences since our last meeting, including potential stressors and changes in mood, behavior, or interpersonal dynamics.

We collaboratively review any progress you’ve made, assessing the effectiveness of the current medication regimen. If adjustments are deemed necessary, we can explore dosage adjustments or alternative options to manage symptoms through integrative care, which may include the incorporation of natural supplements. By utilizing therapeutic modalities tailored to your specific needs, we set personalized goals for your mental health journey and develop actionable strategies aimed at achieving those goals. Sessions are scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
